Vineyard Church

This month, our focus is on Easter – how Jesus showed his love for us.

We’ll learn what sin is, what it does to us, and why Jesus died for our sins!

Our memory verse this month is Romans 3:23

“Everyone has sinned. No one measures up to God’s glory.”

Kog Theme And Mv Theme 2

For 13-weeks (!!!) we focused on the parables Jesus told about the Kingdom of Heaven – What it’s like, how it affects our lives, and how God wants us to JOIN Him in his amazing work to save the world! Throughout the series, we’ve been remembering Jesus’ words in Luke 18:16

“Let the little children come to me. Don’t keep them away. God’s kingdom belongs to people like them.”

For 9-weeks (!!!) we embarked on a journey through our own Maryville Vineyard church prayer. Each week we highlighted a phrase from the prayer and learned what that meant through scripture and how it applied to our life. Our goal at the end of 9-weeks: to be able to say our prayer together in front of the church! (SPOILER ALERT – We did it!!!)

This month we’re headed Back-to-School! And we’ll be looking at people in the Bible who had to go back and learn (and sometimes relearn!) how best to follow God. How can you follow God best? Stay tuned to find out!

In this summer series, we are exploring the fun and exciting things we love to do in summertime – camping, hiking, fishing, boating, going to the beach and festivals, and more! And then we’re connecting each activity to a Bible story where they did the same thing.

In this series, we’re learning about how the whole Bible tells one AMAZING story – a story of a loving God who would stop at nothing to save His lost children. Each week we’ll be covering a new book of the Bible, from Genesis thru Nehemiah.

Wwj Test 3

It’s our church’s Vision statement – “Walk with Jesus. Love Your Neighbor.” But what if we ACTUALLY got to walk with Him?! What if we had lived back then and got to walk alongside Him? What would we see, hear, learn, experience? In this series, we’ll be walking step-by-step through His life to learn how He lived and how He loved.
