Set Apart for the Kingdom of God.

About

Our 3rd annual Vineyard Student Retreat is just around the corner! This event is for students in 4th—8th grade. Our goal is to help students understand that God has called us to be holy and set apart in this world, and has created each one of us with a purpose. We’ll have games and activities, as well as devotions and messages to create an atmosphere for students to hear from the Lord.

  • Students 4th—8th grade
  • Friday, Nov 9 — Sunday, Nov 11
  • $150 per Student (meals & shirts included/scholarships available)
  • Questions? Contact us.

Be sure to bring plenty of clothes, including ones you don’t mind getting messy in. It is a campground so there’s a few messy things to get involved in.

  • Other Necessities:
  • Some cash for snacks
  • Toiletries (Especially deodorant, dudes. Seriously.)
  • Towels, washcloths
  • Linens or sleeping bag, pillow
  • Bible
  • Notebook
  • Pens or pencils
  • Flashlight
  • Bug Spray
  • Medications (if needed) *see Parent Info Packet for how to label and pack

No Phones.
It’s best if all cell phones stay home! Our retreat is about getting away from distractions, taking a break from social media, games, and messaging. It’s a time to decompress and focus.

If a student is caught with their phone it will be confiscated and kept securely in the campground office for the weekend, and returned to their group leader at the end of the retreat.

Please do not bring:

• MP3, CD, iPods, cassette, or 8-track players. Or record players, hipsters.
• Portable video games.
• DVD players, or other electronic distractions. You get the idea.
• Weapons, alcohol, or drugs.

Cost
The cost of this event $150 per student and payment is due by Wednesday, Oct. 17. If you did not pay online, please put your retreat money in an offering envelope, write “Student Retreat” and your name on it, and drop it in an offering box at church, or give it to Sam. Scholarships are available—we want to make sure every student that wants to is able to attend the retreat.
