VINEYARD PRETEEN

“SET APART FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD”

The transition from elementary to middle school is tough…

So we’ve created a fun environment especially for these transition years where students can:

  • participate in gathered worship in a positive peer group.
  • experience spiritual “rites of passage” with their family.
  • bridge the 4-6 grade gap.

Our goal is to equip students with a firm foundation in Christ, challenging them to own their faith, to be set apart for Christ, and to experience God on a more personal, intimate level.

FAQ FOR PARENTS

Vineyard Preteen meets on Sundays two doors down from the Maryville venue, 631 William Blount Drive, at

  • 10am
  • 11:30am

Currently, we only meet at the Maryville venue, but we’re making plans to bring Preteen to all venues as soon as possible.

In order to ensure the safety and security of all kids at the Vineyard, parents or guardians need to register children before they attend Preteen for the first time. You’ll probably want to plan about 10 extra minutes to complete the one-time registration form for each child.

You will receive a Family ID number along with everything you’ll need to check-in each time you attend in the future.

Students are welcomed into the classroom 15 minutes prior to services and must be checked in by a parent or guardian. Using invisible ink, we’ll mark the wrists of both you and your child.

To check your child out of class when you’re finished worshiping, please allow us to verify that your wrists match. For security reasons, we ask that parents do not enter classrooms, but remain at the door until your child is dismissed to you.

Jacob grew up in Pleasant Hope, MO with his two brothers, Jonah and Jesse, and his parents, Tim and Lynne. His parents decided to homeschool Jacob and his brothers so they could spend more time with them and provide a christian education. Despite growing up in a Christian home, Jacob didn’t know what it meant to fully dedicate his life to Christ until he was 16. Since that time, God has called him to ministry. Jacob has attended Evangel University and has served as an intern and interim Youth Pastor at Praise Assembly in Springfield, MO. Jacob interned at Maryville Vineyard Church for a year, and in January of 2016 was hired as the Preteen Pastor.
